Memphis Basketball freshmen Mikey Williams and JJ Taylor enter transfer portal

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Memphis Basketball freshmen Mikey Williams and JJ Taylor have officially entered in the transfer portal.
A Memphis program spokesperson confirmed earlier Monday that Taylor joined the portal, per Matt Infield.
Hours later, it was confirmed that Williams would join Taylor in the portal.
The program says in a statement that the process for Williams to join the team was underway, but he chose to explore other options.
