MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Memphis Police Department has arrested and charged a woman they say stabbed her coworker during an argument while working at a Sonic restaurant.

A worker told police that he was assaulted by his coworker at the Sonic on Poplar Avenue.

Marianna Conley, 37, was an employee at the restaurant but was not working when she allegedly attacked the victim.

Police say that Conley came into the business while off-duty, grabbed a metal pan, and started hitting the victim.

After striking him in the head, Conley proceeded to grab a knife and chase the victim throughout the business.

Conley was able to stab the victim in the hand.

The victim later gave police a statement that Conley was the person responsible for his injuries.

Conley was taken into police custody and was booked into jail on January 17.

She is now facing charges for aggravated assault.
