MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The Memphis Grizzlies have announced another addition to their roster amid injuries plaguing the team.

The team has added guard Scotty Pippen Jr. to a two-way contract.

Pippen, 6′1, is averaging 20 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals per game for the South Bay Lakers in the NBA G League.

Pippen appeared in six games for the Los Angeles Lakers last season, scoring 2.3 points in 5.3 minutes per game.

He also participated in the 2023 Jordan Rising Stars Game as part of the NBA All-Star Weekend in 2023.

Pippen is the son of NBA Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen and a former All-SEC player with Vanderbilt.
