2 men steal $5k worth of shoe products from Kaufman Shoes, police say

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Memphis Police Department is searching for two men they say were involved in a burglary at Kaufman Shoes from Poplar Avenue.

On January 1 around 3:14 a.m., officers responded to a burglary alarm at Kaufman Shoes on Poplar Avenue.

Officers were advised that the front window glass was broken out and the suspects enetered into the business.

Store owners advised that $5000 in merchandise was taken from the store.

After reviewing video cameras, two men with face masks, driving in a four-door gray vehicle, broke out the window and stole the merchandise.

No arrest has been made.

This is an ongoing investigation.
