LAUDERDALE CO., Tenn. (WMC) - The Lauderdale County Water System has issued a Boil Water Notice for its customers Thursday afternoon.

The utility says the advisory is in place due to a decrease in water pressure from high demand over the past few days.

All Lauderdale County Water System customers are asked to boil water until further notice.

The utility will also supply bottled water for those affected by complete water loss.

Water can be picked up at the Water Department at 551 Central Curve Road until another location can be set up.

If you are unable to pick it up due to emergency circumstances or a disability, you can call 731-460-2854. Those included in the giveaway are residents in the Conner Whitefield, Durhamville, and Hobe Webb areas.

Action News 5 will provide updates.
