Boil Water Notice issued for Friendship, Tenn.

FRIENDSHIP, Tenn. (WMC) - A Boil Water Notice has been issued for Friendship, Tennessee, until noon Friday.

The Crockett County Emergency Management Agency says the advisory is out of an abundance of caution after a busted water line temporarily interrupted the City of Friendship Water District.

The pipe was fixed at noon Thursday.

Friendship Water customers are also asked to conserve water for the next 18 hours and avoid washing clothes and baths/showers, but continue to let your faucets drip to restore reserves.

Bottled water is available at Friendship Dollar General, Maury City Dollar General, and Tate’s Family Foods.
