Interstate crashes delay traffic for holiday travelers

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Traffic has been delayed for holiday travelers Wednesday evening due to two interstate crashes.

The first scene is at I-40 Eastbound, where two vehicles collided just before the Sycamore View Road exit.

Police are still on the scene, but all lanes are now clear.

The wreck was reported to TDOT at 5:37 p.m.

Police say no one was injured.

The second crash is at I-240 Westbound just before the Mount Moriah Road exit. Police say two vehicles were involved.

Police are still on the scene, but all lanes are now clear.

That wreck was reported to TDOT at 6:17 p.m.

One person was taken to St. Francis Hospital in non-critical condition.
