Pipes burst at 201 Poplar, juvenile court
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Shelby County Jail and a Shelby County Juvenile Court sprinkler line burst.
According to Shelby County Mayor’s Office of Innovations, the juvenile court on Adams Avenue and jail on 201 Polar Avenue sprinklers burst Wednesday morning.
The line in the jail impacted the lower level. It was repaired and cleaned up.
The Mayor’s Office of Innovations said MLGW is on-site testing the main lines due to low water pressure.
Repairs to the sprinkler line are in progress and most of the clean-up of any water has been completed at the juvenile court.
The elevators are down in the building due to the leakage.
