2 arrested after Amazon van stolen in Collierville
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Two people are in custody after police say they stole an Amazon van.
Collierville police say the theft happened on Friday, January 5, just after 3:30 p.m. on Tinder Oaks Lane East.
The two suspects allegedly arrived in a U-Haul truck when they noticed the Amazon driver delivering a package, and swooped in to steal the truck.
On January 7, Somerville Police Department received a tip that led to the location of the U-Haul. Once that truck was found, the suspects were located and taken into custody.
Jayla Victor, 20, and Aliyah Patterson, 28, are charged with auto theft.
Their bonds were set at $99,000.
