MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Memphis police arrested a woman Thursday after she was an accessory to a homicide at a South Parkway gas station.

Neikeiska Connors, 36, is charged with facilitation first-degree murder.

Police say the shooting happened on January 4 at a gas station on South Parkway East near College Street.

According to MPD, Connors entered the gas station, noticeably looking for someone, left the store, and came back in the gas station minutes later looking for someone until she found the victim.

Connors left the store once again and waited for the victim inside of her car.

Police say once the victim left the store, a man in all-black clothing left the vehicle armed with a rifle and fired approximately nine shots at the victim, striking him three times.

The man and Connors left in the vehicle northbound on Gaither Street from South Parkway.

The Memphis Fire Department made the scene and transported the victim to Regional One Hospital where he died from his injuries.

Investigators located tags to the vehicle used in the homicide, which came back in Connors’ name.

According to Police, Connors was prevoiusly arrested back in August 2023 in the vehicle for DUI.

On Thursday, police located Connors and detained her for further information.

No other arrests have been made at this time.
