MPD investigates 2 separate business break-ins

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Memphis Police Department is investigating two separate business break-ins on Sunday morning.

Officers responded to a burglary call at an Xfinity Store by Comcast on Poplar Avenue and Humes Street around 5:20 a.m.

Around the same time, officers received another burglary call to a Cricket Wireless store about half a mile away.

MPD has not said if the two scenes are connected.

There is no suspect information and there is no word on what was taken.
