MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Memphis Police Department has arrested and charged a man they say was responsible for stealing $4,000 worth of products from Ulta Beauty.

On January 16, officers responded to an alarm call at the Ulta Beauty Store on Germantown Parkway.

When police arrived, they discovered that the window to the business had been broken into.

They also spotted a man carrying a suitcase who was later identified as Chardarius Baskerville.

Just as police attempted to stop Baskerville, he took off running through the parking lot.

After a brief pursuit on foot, Baskerville was taken into police custody.

When officers checked his suitcase they discovered $4,000 worth of beauty items from the Ulta store.

Baskerville is now facing burglary charges.
