Shooting in Dyersburg leaves 1 teen dead, another injured

DYERSBURG, Tenn. (WMC) - The Dyersburg Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one teenager dead and another injured late Tuesday morning.

Dyersburg police were called to the area of Hike Avenue and Palmer Street at 11:45 a.m.

Officers arrived to find one 17-year-old dead inside a car. Another 17-year-old was airlifted to a Memphis hospital.
