MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Three suspects were detained after a police pursuit on Wednesday morning.

At 6:40 a.m., officers responded to an armed party where shots were fired at 508 Tennessee Street.

At the scene, police searched the parking garage at the location to check for any suspects.

Once no suspects were found, officers were informed that three armed suspects were running towards the Malco Powerhouse Cinema movie theater on 540 South Front Street.

Police ran after the suspects and one of them was detained.

The suspect was detained at G. E Patterson Avenue and was armed with a loaded automatic switch Glock 22, according to police.

The suspect also had a Glock 19 in his right hand and it was shown to be stolen out of Shelby County in June 2023.

A handgun automatic switch Glock 21 was found on the scene in the parking garage on 508 Tennesseee Street.

Officers also discovered a stolen white Infiniti Q60, according to MPD.

The other two suspects were detained after driving away from the scene in the stolen vehicle.

No charges have been filed at this time. This is an ongoing investigation.
