MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Family, friends as well as students and teachers at White Station High School are remembering a well-loved student who died at the school Monday morning.

Memphis-Shelby County Schools (MSCS) says ninth-grader Kingston Davidson passed away after experiencing a medical emergency while at school.

The district, on behalf of Davidson’s family, says he played football, loved math and fashion, and was already set on a career path of being an entrepreneur.

District officials did not clarify how the beloved student died, but did say Davidson received immediate medical attention from school resource officers and paramedics.

Despite all life-saving efforts, he tragically did not survive.

The district is providing counseling to students and staff.
