Local on the Square closing its doors after 11 years

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - An Overton Square favorite is closing after 11 years.
Local on the Square announced Saturday, October 28 will be the restaurant’s last night open for business. The gastropub opened in 2012 after Overton Square underwent a major facelift.
No reason has yet been given for the sudden closure.
Action News 5 has reached out to Local’s management but has yet to hear back.
